Position Overview

The Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and reporting for the organization, ensuring that all tax obligations are met accurately and on time. This role requires a strategic thinker who can offer tax planning solutions and manage a team to deliver exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax regulations and demonstrate strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the preparation and review of corporate tax returns
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the organizations goals
• Provide guidance on tax implications for business transactions and initiatives
• Monitor and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Conduct tax research and generate reports to assist in decision-making
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals to enhance their skills and performance
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a similar role
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Experience with tax compliance software and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Experience in real estate and partnerships is a plus
• Knowledge of legal aspects related to tax is a plus
