Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee projects within the K-12 and Higher Education sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while meeting client expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple education-related projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress against them.
- Ensure compliance with DSA (Division of the State Architect) regulations and other relevant standards.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD software to produce project documentation and designs.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, budget expenditures, and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and external partners.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in K-12 and Higher Education settings.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of DSA requirements and regulatory compliance for education facilities.
- Certification as a Project Manager Professional (PMP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AIA and NCARB standards and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
