Project Engineer - Land Development (Civil)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer specializing in Land Development to oversee and manage various engineering projects from initial planning through to completion. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with zoning regulations and ordinance requirements while optimizing site layouts for efficient land use.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site analysis and prepare grading plans for land development projects.
• Design and implement drainage systems, including storm drainage and erosion control measures.
• Develop lot layouts and site layouts that comply with local zoning regulations.
• Create utility design plans for water distribution systems, sanitary sewer systems, and pump stations.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce accurate engineering drawings and plans.
• Ensure all projects meet ordinance requirements and permitting processes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with civil site design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software required, Hydraflow preferred.
• Strong knowledge of zoning regulations and land development permitting processes.
• Experience with stormwater management. .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
