What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer - Construction Support position at CyberCoders?
You've been in the trenches-coordinating submittals, juggling RFIs, tracking change orders, and keeping schedules from slipping off the rails.
And maybe, just maybe, you're ready for a role where your experience is valued, your work-life balance is respected, and your impact is essential.
This is the team that steps in when projects need clarity, control, and momentum. From submittal coordination to project documentation, from cost tracking to closeout-we support our clients with the kind of behind-the-scenes horsepower that keeps jobs moving and clients happy.
Now, we're looking for someone like you to join our Springfield area office.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate submittals and manage project documentation with precision
- Support project managers and engineers across multiple active jobs
- Assist with estimating, scheduling, and cost tracking systems
- Prepare RFIs, change orders, and delay notifications
- Help close out projects with clean, complete documentation
- Be a trusted resource for clients who rely on our expertise
What You Bring:
- Experience in a contractor-side role-Project Engineer, APM, or similar
- Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and scheduling tools
- A sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset
- Bonus points if you've worked with estimating software or CPM schedules
Why This Role?
Because you want more than just a paycheck. You want to be part of a team that values your time, your input, and your growth.
You want to stay in the construction industry-but with a better quality of life (we work from home on Fridays and actually work 40-45 hours a week...not 50 )
And you want to do work that matters, every single day.
