Principal RTL Design Engineer - PCIe

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal RTL Design Engineer specializing in PCIe to lead the design and development of advanced networking devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for microarchitecture design, RTL coding, and validation of high-performance PCIe interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the RTL design and implementation for PCIe components in networking devices.
• Develop and refine microarchitecture specifications for PCIe interfaces.
• Perform RTL coding using VHDL/Verilog and ensure adherence to design standards.
• Conduct thorough verification and validation of designs through simulation and formal verification techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PCIe interfaces into larger system architectures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in RTL design and PCIe protocols.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in RTL design and verification, with a strong focus on PCIe.
• Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog and familiarity with industry-standard design tools.
• Experience with Serdes technology and its application in networking devices.
• Strong understanding of microarchitecture principles and design methodologies.
