This role is for my best client, a National Contractor with over 15 years of established work in the Phoenix Valley. They do large jobs on megaprojects throughout the region, mostly industrial in nature (semiconductor, data center, large manufacturing, nuclear, water treatment, mining, etc.). They are looking for a Precon Manager, ideally someone that is very strong with either Electrical (low-voltage) or Mechanical (piping) construction. 

Pay: 160k-200k base before benefits and a very lucrative bonus structure.

Position Overview
The Preconstruction Manager oversees the planning and execution of preconstruction activities for various projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while aligning with the company's objectives and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preconstruction planning process for multiple projects, ensuring thorough analysis and preparation.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop project scopes and budgets.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform decision-making during the preconstruction phase.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients, highlighting project timelines, costs, and logistics.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather necessary estimates and information for planning purposes.
• Review and understand project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure alignment with company capabilities and client needs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the preconstruction process.

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in preconstruction management, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
