We are seeking a skilled Powder Tech to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying a variety of coatings to metal substrates using a powder coating system.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean surfaces for coating application
- Apply powder coatings to metal substrates using a powder coating system
- Operate and maintain powder coating equipment and related tools
- Perform quality control checks on finished products
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Provide support to other areas of the manufacturing process when needed
- Prior experience working with Basic Tools, Basic Mechanical, Basic Electrical, Basic Controls, Hoists, Blast Booth, Dust Collection, Powder Coat, Breathing Air, Oven, Conveyor, Compressors, Fork/Aerial Lifts, DOORS, Production Equipment, Housekeeping, Safety
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed
