What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Winona Powder Coating?
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team.
As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at our facility.
Responsibilities:
Daily cleaning and sanitizing multiple restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas
Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Notify management of any damages or repairs needed
-Keeping inventory of cleaning supplies at the plant
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cleaning at a manufacturer or plant is required
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
Ability to work independently and follow instructions closely
Flexibility is key, as shifts may vary, and while weekend availability may occasionally be required, it is not the norm (work hours may fall between 6 am and 8 pm)
