Plumbing Estimator - NP Mechanical

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Plumbing Estimator to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to accurately assess and estimate plumbing project costs for residential and multifamily construction projects, ensuring that all estimates meet the required specifications and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare detailed plumbing estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate cost assessments.
• Utilize estimating software, including FastPIPE and Trimble, to create precise and competitive bids.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and verify measurements when necessary.
• Prepare and present detailed estimates, reports, and proposals to clients and management.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase to identify discrepancies and recommend adjustments.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for reference and audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumbing estimator in residential and multifamily construction.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as FastPIPE and Trimble.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills and understanding of construction documents.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
