Work Style: Hybrid (Local candidates preferred for 2x weekly in-office collaboration) May consider remote for right candidates.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000 (Commensurate with experience and billables) Expected billables 1700.

The Role: High-Impact Prep and Pros

We are looking for a technically brilliant Electrical Engineer or Physicist to join our team. You will lead the full patent lifecycle, from initial inventor interviews to strategic prosecution before the USPTO.

• Diverse Tech Stack: Work on 5G and wireless protocols, network security, optical devices, medical electronics, and cutting-edge AI.

• Strategic Counseling: Beyond drafting, you will conduct infringement, clearance, and validity studies.

• Global Impact: Instruct international counsel on foreign patent prosecution to protect global portfolios.

What You Bring

• Technical Foundation: Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Biotech.

• Patent Pedigree: At least 2 years of substantial patent drafting experience (high-volume firm experience is a plus).

• Credentials: Current Registration as a U.S. Patent Agent with a deep understanding of USPTO procedures.

• Communication: The ability to translate complex engineering into clear, defensible legal claims.
