Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Memphis, TN
Salary: $60K - $110K (DOE)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support a variety of industrial and manufacturing projects, including facility expansions, equipment installations, piping systems, material handling equipment, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs, layouts, and engineering drawings
- Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models
- Support equipment, piping, and facility design projects
- Conduct field visits and gather design information as needed
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and engineering teams
- Assist with project documentation, specifications, and design reviews
- Support equipment upgrades, capital projects, and facility improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering field preferred
- Experience with mechanical design and CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, plant, or engineering environments preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
