Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Controls (Electrical) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to optimize industrial processes. You will leverage your expertise in electrical engineering and automation to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for industrial automation processes.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and improve system functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing equipment.
- Implement and support industrial communication protocols including Modbus and Ethernet.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial controls engineering with a focus on electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design.
- Familiarity with automation technologies and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems is preferred.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (IP, Modbus) and Ethernet standards.
