Position Overview
We are one of New England's leading HVAC manufacturer's representative firms, and we are looking for a mechanically inclined Inside Sales Representative to add to our team.
This role involves NO COLD CALLING but rather helping out the outside sales engineering team with providing technical information to clients, which are engineers and contractors within the HVAC industry.
The Inside Sales Representative will be reviewing HVAC construction plans for commercial projects, interpreting HVAC specifications and preparing detailed, job-specific quotes and engineering documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist sales with equipment selection and pricing.
- Prepare quotes for equipment.
- Provide detailed construction submittals of our products.
- Prepare and release orders to manufacturers.
- Handle customer issues and develop technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience within HVAC sales or HVAC technical customer support.
- Prior experience selling to mechanical contractors is required.
- Being mechanically inclined and having the ability to quickly assimilate technical/mechanical information.
- Ability and desire to work and communicate effectively with internal team members and external clients.
