Services Representative $120,000-$170,000 - Relocation

Position Overview
The Technical Services Representative provides technical support and field service for industrial equipment and application systems. This role acts as the primary technical contact for customers, troubleshooting problems, recommending solutions, and supporting installation, maintenance, and optimization of systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with manufacturing environments and familiarity with OMC and Graco equipment and application practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries by phone, email, and onsite visits to diagnose and resolve equipment and application issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical problems on industrial equipment including Graco and OMC systems; perform repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct onsite installations, start-ups, and commissioning of equipment; verify correct setup, calibration, and integration with existing production lines.
• Provide detailed application support and process optimization recommendations to improve throughput, quality, and uptime in manufacturing environments.
• Create and maintain accurate service reports, work orders, and parts recommendations using the companys tracking systems.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and parts teams to identify recurring issues, recommend design or process improvements, and support warranty claims.
• Deliver customer training and product demonstrations covering safe operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting best practices.
• Maintain inventory of service parts and tools; coordinate parts ordering and logistics to minimize downtime for customers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, documenting findings and sharing best practices across the technical services team.
• Travel to customer sites regionally as required to support service agreements and emergency calls.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field; equivalent work experience in place of formal education considered.
• 3 years of hands-on experience in field service or technical support within manufacturing, industrial coatings, or fluid handling industries.
• Proven experience with Graco and OMC equipment installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical/pneumatic troubleshooting skills; comfortable reading schematics and service manuals.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments with knowledge of production processes, process controls, and quality systems.
• Excellent customer-facing skills with clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to produce accurate service documentation and use service management software or CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varied industrial settings; valid drivers license required.
• Preferred: certifications in industrial maintenance, fluid handling, or specific vendor training from Graco or OMC; familiarity with safety standards (OSHA) and lockout/tagout procedures.
