Position Overview
The Estimator is responsible for analyzing project specifications, performing cost estimates, and preparing proposals for construction projects. This role requires a keen understanding of construction processes and sitework to ensure accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine scope and cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Review and interpret contract documents to identify potential risks and opportunities in project budgeting.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to provide input on project feasibility and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with specified requirements.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sitework processes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
