Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for concrete projects including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Conduct on-site assessments to gather information needed for accurate estimation.
- Maintain a database of pricing and supplier information to ensure competitive estimates.
- Assist in preparing proposals and bids for concrete projects.
- Monitor project budgets and costs during construction to ensure compliance with estimates.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods and materials.
- Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in commercial, municipal, and residential concrete projects is preferred.
Salary: $80k-$85k Commission ($120k-$200k OTE)
