Join a leading electrical subcontractor recognized for delivering high-performance solutions on some of the most challenging Mission Critical and Industrial projects across the country. We are seeking a Traveling Electrical Superintendent who brings deep field expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to excellence. In this role, you will oversee on-site electrical operations, ensure project milestones are met, and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity while traveling to various project locations.
What you will do:
- Lead and supervise on-site electrical crews, subcontractors, and field personnel
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and milestones
- Interpret electrical plans, specifications, and design-build documents to guide field execution
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and enforce company safety standards
- Conduct site walks, quality checks, and progress reviews to ensure work meets specifications
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and general contractors to resolve field issues
- Manage material deliveries, equipment needs, and workforce allocation
- Provide accurate daily reporting, including manpower tracking, progress updates, and site documentation
- Support commissioning, testing, and turnover activities
- Represent the company professionally while traveling to various project sites nationwide
What you need:
- Extensive electrical project experience in either Cold Storage, Food & Beverage or Tilt Wall
- Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, and industry best practices
- Proven ability to lead field teams on fast-paced, large-scale projects
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and technical documents
- Willingness to travel frequently and work on long-term assignments away from home
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus
