About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in a 100% remote capacity. This role is dedicated to the Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) practice, requiring a seasoned professional who can manage engagements with autonomy and technical precision.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage EBP audit engagements from planning through completion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely communication and exceptional service delivery.
Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and Form 5500 filings.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to senior and staff auditors.
Ensure compliance with DOL and ERISA regulations.
Requirements:
5 years of recent experience in Audit within a public accounting firm.
Demonstrated expertise in Employee Benefit Plan audits (preferred experience of 10 engagements per year).
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and GAAS as they pertain to benefit plans.
CPA designation is required.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements in a fully remote environment.
