Position Overview
The Director of Project Management will oversee all project management operations within the organization, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project management team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective project execution
- Develop and implement project management processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary
- Oversee project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring optimal use of resources
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the project management team
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in steel and structural projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with a focus on steel and structural projects
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects from inception to completion
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are highly desirable
