The Controls Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems and HVAC equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient operation and performance of building automation and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with control systems and HVAC units
- Perform routine maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to implement control strategies
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of system performance and maintenance activities
- Provide technical support and training to end users on control systems and HVAC operations
- Associate's degree in Electronics, HVAC Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with control systems, HVAC systems, or related projects
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with building automation systems and protocols
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
