We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to develop and maintain control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, HMI design, and VFD operation, as well as experience in the manufacturing industry. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Optimize control strategies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Develop and maintain documentation for control systems and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and control system design.
- Familiarity with HMI development and VFD operation.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
