Position Overview
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for industrial automation processes. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient and reliable system performance while troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems for industrial automation processes.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Utilize control theory to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on control systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with other engineering disciplines.
- Develop and maintain documentation for control system designs and modifications.
- Use AutoCAD to create and modify control panel layouts and schematics.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar role within industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of control systems and automation technologies.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs and working with HMI and SCADA applications.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley products and systems.
