Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law and litigation, focusing on disputes related to construction projects, contract matters, and general contractor engagements. This role involves advising clients, managing litigation cases, and striving for effective dispute resolution and avoidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee construction litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Advise clients on construction disputes and contract administration matters.
• Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with risk management protocols in construction projects.
• Stay updated on changes in construction law and litigation practices.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 2 years of experience in construction litigation or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, disputes, and contract matters.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in litigation procedures, including motion practice and discovery.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
