Commercial Litigation Associate

$180 - $210,000 Base Salary

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of commercial litigation, including health law, construction, real estate, and professional liability. This position will involve representing clients in complex commercial disputes and contributing to the firm's commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters in court and at arbitration hearings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assist in the development of case strategy and provide counsel to clients regarding risk assessment and litigation options.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in case preparation and trial strategy.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to commercial litigation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3 years of experience in commercial litigation or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of health law, construction litigation, real estate litigation, and professional liability.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
