Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed electrical estimates for commercial projects
- Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring financial targets are met
- Review and analyze blueprints and electrical systems to determine project requirements
- Lead project meetings and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients and vendors
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary changes to ensure successful outcomes
- Utilize estimating software such as McCormicks and Accubid for bid preparation
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations throughout all phases of the project
- Provide leadership and support to project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration
- Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician License
- 3 yrs minimum of Electrical Estimatimating or Project Management in the Electrical Construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and relevant electrical codes.
- Excellent skills in project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel for project design and documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relations.
- Experience with risk assessment and quality control processes.
