CNC Programmer

Position Overview
We're an established Aerospace Manufacturer, and we are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components in accordance with engineering specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming techniques and the ability to work with complex geometries, especially in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations
• Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes and mills
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in production
• Conduct test runs to ensure the quality of machined parts
• Modify existing programs to improve efficiency and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machining processes
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to meet project requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
• Experience with 5-axis machining is preferred
• Background in aerospace/precision manufacturing or investment castings is an advantage
• Understanding of AS9100 standards and GD&T principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
