Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering plans and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies.
- Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements.
- Perform construction inspections and provide technical support during project execution.
- Utilize CAD and other engineering software to produce accurate and timely deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of experience in civil engineering design or construction.
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred or in progress.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and other design tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Chicago-area codes, standards, and permitting processes is a plus.
