The Building Controls Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and promoting building automation systems within the commercial and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in controls and sales to develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the building automation sector.
- Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and increase account penetration.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of building automation systems to potential clients.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to create tailored solutions for customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to effectively position our solutions.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in building automation systems or related fields.
- Strong understanding of controls systems and building automation technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Nice to have: knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems, and experience in marketing or account development.
