Building Automation Specialist

Position Overview

The Building Automation Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing building systems to ensure efficiency, safety, and sustainability. This role involves working closely with HVAC systems, electrical components, and building automation technologies to enhance building performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with HVAC and electrical teams to integrate automation solutions into existing systems.
• Implement system upgrades and enhancements to improve building functionality and user experience.
• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on building automation systems and HVAC equipment.
• Assist in the planning and execution of HVAC projects and engineering initiatives.
• Provide technical support and training for end-users on building automation systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and maintenance schedules.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC systems and building automation technologies.
• Strong background in electrical fieldwork and system integration.
• Familiarity with day-to-day operations of building management systems.
• Experience with system implementation and project management in HVAC settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC mechanical engineering principles is a plus.
