BAS Sales Executive – Phoenix, Arizona
Base Salary: Up to $140,000 Uncapped Commission

We are working with an established Building Automation and Controls company looking for an experienced BAS Sales Executive to grow their presence across the Phoenix market.
This is an opportunity for a proven BAS sales professional who wants to take ownership of a territory, develop new relationships and build a significant book of business within one of the fastest-growing commercial and data center markets in the country.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business across the Phoenix and greater Arizona market while also identifying opportunities within existing company relationships.
This is a true growth-focused sales position. There is no expectation that you simply manage an inherited desk — you will have the opportunity to build your own customer base, develop long-term relationships and establish yourself as a key player in the Arizona BAS market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow new BAS business across the Phoenix market
- Identify and pursue new construction, retrofit, service and controls opportunities
- Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, building owners, facility managers and end users
- Sell Building Automation Systems, HVAC Controls, energy management and related services
- Manage the complete sales process from prospecting through to close
- Generate proposals and work with engineering and operations teams to develop solutions
- Build a strong pipeline of new opportunities
- Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships
- Identify opportunities for upgrades, replacements, service agreements and additional controls work
- Attend customer meetings, industry events and networking opportunities
- Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately
- Take ownership of the Phoenix territory and develop a long-term growth strategy
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience within BAS, Building Automation, HVAC Controls or a closely related industry
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and controls
- Existing relationships within the Phoenix/Arizona market are highly desirable
- Experience selling to mechanical contractors, engineers, building owners or end users
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close opportunities
- Strong commercial and communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Someone who enjoys developing a market rather than simply managing an existing account base
Compensation
- Base salary up to $140,000 depending on experience
