BIM Designer

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled BIM Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) to facilitate Construction and MEP coordination, clash detection, and effective design/build processes. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all project stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Building Information Models (BIM) for MEP systems
• Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure seamless integration of designs
• Utilize software tools such as Revit and Navisworks for clash detection and resolution
• Assist in the design and documentation of architectural and structural elements
• Collaborate with project teams during pre-construction and construction phases to ensure project goals are met
• Review and analyze catalog data to inform design decisions and maintain accuracy in models
• Participate in design coordination meetings to address potential conflicts or issues
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a BIM Designer or BIM Specialist in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks software
• Experience in MEP coordination and clash detection processes
• Familiarity with building information modeling and 3D modeling best practices
• Knowledge of construction documentation and design coordination
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Autodesk software, architectural design principles, structural analysis, and pre-construction processes.
