Position Overview
The Audit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing guidance to junior audit staff. The role involves leading audit teams, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality audit reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
- Review audit work papers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance
- Provide mentorship and training to junior auditors
- Manage client relationships and communicate audit findings effectively
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Prepare and present audit reports to management and stakeholders
- Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in auditing or accounting
- Strong understanding of audit methodologies and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
