Position Overview
The Audit Senior will lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing insightful recommendations for improved operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion for non-profit and government clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training.
• Conduct thorough audits to evaluate financial statements, compliance, and internal controls.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit and accounting standards, particularly for non-profit and government sectors.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or EA certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, preferably with non-profit and government clients.
• Strong understanding of EBP and construction audit practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
