Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion for non-profit and government clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training.
- Conduct thorough audits to evaluate financial statements, compliance, and internal controls.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit and accounting standards, particularly for non-profit and government sectors.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA or EA certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, preferably with non-profit and government clients.
- Strong understanding of EBP and construction audit practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
