Director of Operations - Amada Senior Care (Home Care / Senior Care)

Job Summary

Amada Senior Care is hiring a Director of Operations to lead our Lewes, DE office serving families across Sussex County (Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, Georgetown, Millsboro, Seaford, Milton) and Kent County (Dover, Smyrna, Milford, Camden, Harrington, Felton, Clayton). You'll be the steady hand that keeps caregivers supported, families confident, and the business running smoothly - from the first phone call to the final invoice.

What you'll do:

· Lead day-to-day operations of a non-medical, in-home senior care agency spanning two Delaware counties.

· Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain a top-quality caregiver team.

· Run bi-weekly payroll and client billing accurately and on time.

· Answer inbound calls from new families and turn inquiries into care assessments.

· Resolve client, family, and caregiver concerns calmly and professionally.

· Maintain compliance with Delaware Division of Health Care Quality, HIPAA, OSHA, and Amada brand standards.

What you need to bring:

5 years of operations leadership (home care, healthcare, staffing, or multi-site service preferred).

· Real HR, payroll, and/or billing experience - not just exposure.

· A genuine passion for caring for seniors and supporting their families.

· Strong organization, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

· Comfort answering phones, building the daily schedule, and owning the numbers.

· Solid computer skills: scheduling/EVV software, CRM, Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspace, payroll/timekeeping systems, and standard office equipment.

· Valid Delaware driver's license and reliable transportation.

· Build referral relationships with Beebe Healthcare, TidalHealth Nanticoke, Bayhealth, hospices, and senior living communities across both counties.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
