Position OverviewAs an Audit Senior, you'll lead and manage audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality service. You'll work with clients across industries including nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to strategic audit improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
- Evaluate financial statements and internal controls for GAAP and regulatory compliance
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff
- Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings clearly
- Develop audit strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, preferably in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience with Not-for-Profit (NFP) and Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) audits is a plus
