Position Overview
The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality audit services. This role is crucial in guiding junior staff and enhancing the overall efficiency of the audit process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, including the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Review the work of junior auditors and provide guidance and mentorship.
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulations, including GAAS and GAAP.
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on auditing.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant regulations.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
