Healthcare Litigation Attorney - Los Angeles, CA
A nationally recognized law firm focused on healthcare law is seeking a mid-level associate for its litigation practice group in Los Angeles. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex healthcare litigation and regulatory matters in a collaborative and specialized environment.
Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with exposure to healthcare-related matters
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Experience with motion practice, discovery, and court appearances
Background in healthcare law, regulatory compliance, or government investigations is a plus
Ability to manage cases and work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities
Represent healthcare providers in litigation involving regulatory compliance, reimbursement disputes, and fraud and abuse allegations
Participate in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda and court documents
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies
Assist senior attorneys with complex case strategy and client counseling
