Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our Civil Litigation team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, including insurance defense, personal injury, and premises liability matters. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents related to civil litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and trials as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Manage case files, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court rules.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on civil litigation matters.
- Jurisdictions must be admitted to practice law; a JD from an accredited law school is required.
- 3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury.
- Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
