We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 2-4 year Civil Litigation Associate Attorney, ideally with employment law experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law with a focus on worker's compensation cases. The candidate should be well-versed in using Westlaw for legal research and should be an active member of the California State Bar.

Responsibilities
- Represent clients in all aspects of employment law cases, including worker's compensation, wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment.
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw and other resources to prepare for trials and mediations.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
- Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations.
- Attend MCLE courses to maintain legal competence and fulfill continuing education requirements.
- Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to strategize and achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a civil litigator, ideally with Employment law experience or interest to learn.
- Proficiency in using Westlaw for legal research.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
- Exceptional drafting skills, with experience in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large caseload.
- Commitment to adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Willingness to attend MCLE courses to maintain legal competence and fulfill continuing education requirements.
