About The Role
- Civil Defense Litigation: Assist in defending clients in a wide range of matters, from personal injury claims to complex commercial disputes. Responsibilities include case management, client reporting, written discovery, depositions, court appearances, trial preparation, and trials.
- Insurance Coverage: Conduct research and writing on complex coverage and bad faith issues. Support insurers in coverage litigation, including defending against bad faith and unfair practices claims.
- Collaboration: Work closely with experienced partners and colleagues who bring "AmLaw 100" quality service in a boutique setting.
- National Reach, Boutique Culture: Our attorneys represent clients in complex litigation across the U.S., combining big-firm experience with a more agile, efficient model.
- Diverse Practice Areas: Exposure to industries including insurance, construction, healthcare, transportation, financial services, and professional liability.

- Experience: 2-6 years in civil defense and insurance coverage litigation.

- Knowledge: Must be well-versed in the Connecticut Practice Book and Connecticut practice/procedure.
- Admissions: Connecticut required; New York and/or Massachusetts admissions are advantageous.
- Residency in the firm's West Hartford, Connecticut office(Massachusetts attorneys have a satellite office).
