Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Job Captain to join our dynamic architecture team. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers and design teams to oversee the development of architectural projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate architectural projects from concept through completion
- Prepare and review architectural drawings and documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members to achieve project objectives
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues
- Mentor and support junior staff and interns in their professional development
- Assist in project scheduling and resource allocation
- Participate in design and project meetings, providing input and feedback
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- AIA membership preferred, with a valid AIA license
- 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup
- Experience in Multi-Family and Mixed-Use projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
