- Location: Library Of Congress, Washington DC
- Shift: Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm with possible weekends.
- Conduct daily walk‑throughs and inspections across government facilities to ensure all janitorial work meets contract requirements and company quality standards.
- Use checklists, digital reporting tools, and quality metrics to document inspection results, track trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Train, mentor, and support janitorial staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, equipment use, and company policies.
- Coordinate and follow up on corrective actions to ensure issues are resolved effectively and consistently.
- Collaborate with management to enhance quality control processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with site supervisors and clients to maintain transparency, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor supply levels and work with the operations team to maintain proper inventory.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines while promoting a culture of cleanliness and accountability.
- Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations as needed.
- Participate in audits and contribute to ongoing quality and process‑improvement efforts.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial janitorial services, facility maintenance, or quality control.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety practices, including proper chemical handling, appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and basic infection‑control procedures.
- Strong understanding of janitorial quality control practices, including conducting detailed inspections, documenting findings, identifying deficiencies, and driving effective corrective actions within janitorial, facilities management, or related service environments.
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid RealID
- Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
- Experience operating commercial custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers, auto‑scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other specialized cleaning tools commonly used in large or high‑security facilities.
- Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
