Who You Are... So, what does it take to be a successful QC Supervisor at American Pest? For starters, you'll have a bachelor's degree or advanced degree in entomology, biology, environmental health/science or a similar life science -OR- you'll be a Board Certified Entomologist from the Entomological Society of America with a specialty in urban pest management. - 3 years of pest control experience with current and valid state-issued pest control registrations/licenses/certifications, including Category 7A, B, C, D, and E (preferred)
- The ability to complete required NPMA Pest Management Standards for Food Processing & Handling Facilities
- The ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders to service out-of-the-way areas, and position yourself to conduct service under/around furniture, equipment, and tight spaces
- The ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Technical proficiency with computers, smart phones, PestPac, etc.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Solid attention to detail and experience with following Commercial Service Protocols
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule (between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with occasional exceptions)
- Availability to work some weekends and evenings for on-call support - schedule can be flexible to work remotely for administrative tasks and/or travel long distances to meet with clients within our service area
