CV Resources is partnering with a reputable and growing Vancouver client in the construction space to identify a Recruiting Coordinator for a contract-to-permanent hire opportunity. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, multi-division organization supporting high-volume hiring across several skilled trades and professional business lines.
Position OverviewThe Recruiting Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting full-cycle recruiting efforts across a high-volume, multi-state operation. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and ensure a seamless and positive hiring experience.
This role supports a wide range of positions—from field-level trades to professional and leadership roles—and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit
- Support interview processes and provide feedback on candidate alignment
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate data
- Manage candidate communications, including scheduling, follow-ups, and status updates
- Assist with job postings and ensure consistency across platforms
- Support resume screening and proactive candidate outreach
- Prepare interview materials and coordinate logistics (virtual and onsite)
- Assist with offer letter preparation in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks and drug screenings
- Partner with external agencies on candidate flow for select roles
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycleCross-Functional Support
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Serve as a key point of contact for candidates and hiring managers
- Build strong internal and external relationships to support hiring success
- Assist with hiring events and occasional regional travel
- Support internal events in collaboration with leadership
- Partner with marketing on recruiting initiatives and employer branding effortsQualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of recruiting coordination or HR support experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting efforts
- Construction, trades, or blue-collar recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with onboarding processes, interviewing techniques, and HR compliance
- Experience working with ATS platforms (UKG, BambooHR preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license requiredPreferred Qualifications

- Exposure to recruiting across both field and professional roles
