Assistant Controller (Hybrid)

Assistant Controller | $130k–$145k | Irvine, CA

CV Resources has partnered with an established company that is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead internal accounting operations and support company growth. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting while evolving into a strategic partner to leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal reports
• Maintain internal controls, policies, and compliance
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and vendors
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy
• Support audits, regulatory compliance, and system/process improvements
• Contribute to financial modeling, planning, and key business decisions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership exposure
• Strong GAAP, reporting, and internal controls knowledge
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage) and Excel
