Job Description:
SUMMARY
Drives strategic business growth for Corporate College by identifying, cultivating, and expanding relationships with organizations throughout Ohio and surrounding markets. Serves as a consultative partner to clients by aligning workforce development, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and customized training solutions with client business objectives. Leverages relationship management, strategic marketing, and collaborative solution development to increase revenue growth, client retention, and long-term partnerships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Drives business development activities that consistently meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.

Develops and executes strategic business development plans designed to expand market presence and increase organizational revenue.
- Delivers professional presentations, proposals, and consultative discussions to executives, business leaders, community partners, and internal stakeholders.

Utilizes the college’s CRM platform, Salesforce, to manage client engagement activities, sales pipelines, forecasting, proposal tracking, and relationship development initiatives.

Leverages Salesforce and/or cloud-based marketing tools to support strategic outreach campaigns, lead generation, client engagement, and business development initiatives.

Analyzes client and market data to identify trends, business opportunities, and strategies that support revenue growth and client retention.

Builds, develops, and maintains strategic client relationships that result in long-term partnerships, repeat business, and large-scale customized training and consulting engagements.

Collaborates with Program Directors, subject matter experts, and internal teams to design customized workforce development and organizational effectiveness solutions aligned with client goals.

Demonstrates exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills in both client-facing and internal collaborative environments.

Collaborates effectively with cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, client satisfaction, and achievement of departmental goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of five years of demonstrated sales and/or corporate training sales experience
- Experience in business development, corporate training, workforce development, organizational development, human resources,
- consulting, or related professional services environments preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing and managing strategic client relationships resulting in measurable revenue growth and long-term partnerships.

Demonstrated experience utilizing consultative selling and solution-based sales strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build executive-level relationships.

Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Ohio to meet with clients, attend events, and support networking and business development activities.

Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.
- Work will require regular travel throughout Ohio to meet with clients, attend events, and support networking and business development activities. Walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite.
Target Starting Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000
The final offer for the successful candidate is targeted to fall within this range but will be based upon an assessment of internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications in relation to the minimum and/or preferred job requirement(s).
Special Note: If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
