Job Purpose

This position has primary responsibility of servicing the needs of outside sales representatives and customers directly. This position requires someone who is responsible for growing and developing market share by increasing revenue and developing sales strategies. This position requires regular and predictable attendance.

Essential Job Functions

• Independently develop and provide price and cost for quotes and direct sales of products and services to the company’s valued customers that maintain the customer relationship, protect the company from loss and secure profits.
• Exercise decision making in handling customer complaints and develop approaches for unique situations that bring about a positive resolution.
• Inform management of developing opportunities and challenges in the marketplace and provide advice on courses of action based on experience.
• Acquire, maintain and demonstrate a high level of product, market and industry knowledge.
• Display professionalism when working with customers in person, telephone and electronic communications.
• Design and develop wear solutions for customer’s unique situations utilizing a variety of metals and processes for the optimum solutions.
• Ability to work independently while also working within a team to reach the shared goals of fellow team members and the company.
• Strive to maximize company gross margin
• Responsible for understanding, improving and executing processes that lead to meeting the goals and objectives.
• Must be a team player – you should have the ability to work & motivate yourself independently while also working with teammates for the betterment of the team and company.
• All duties assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or management.
• Responsible for understanding and executing Company goals and objectives while actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of heavy equipment functions, structure and features.
• Ability to discern between various metals and decide on the most appropriate for given applications.
• Working knowledge so Global Shop Manufacturing Solutions Software

• Clear written and oral communication
• Self-motivated & passionate with the ability to work effectively and efficiently in an office environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Quick learner with good memory of products

• Read and understand measurements and sketches

This position will also use the company vehicle at times, so a clean driving record is needed.

Will help in the parts dept as needed, lifting parts.
