Overview
CVP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credentialing Coordinator to support onboarding and security processing activities for employees supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). No prior credentialing experience is required — we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and submitting security and onboarding packages for VA personnel
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness
- Track onboarding progress and follow up on missing information
- Communicate with employees, recruiters, hiring managers, and government contacts throughout the onboarding process
- Maintain accurate records and tracking spreadsheets
- Support badge processing, background investigation coordination, and compliance activities
- Learn federal onboarding and credentialing procedures within the government contracting space
- Help ensure all documentation meets company and VA requirements
Provide administrative and operational support to the credentialing and compliance team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Ability to oversee confidential information professionally
Location
*This is a primarily remote position, must live in the DMV Area for occasional on-site training and support.*
Salary: $60,000
