We are seeking a detail-driven Senior Accountant to support our corporate accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the general ledger, supporting audits, enhancing internal controls, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy of asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
- Prepare internal and external financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reports.
- Assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audits by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies while maintaining strong internal control practices.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for leadership.
- Perform cash reconciliations, expense review, and support payment processing when needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve the accuracy of financial data.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing best practices to streamline accounting operations.
- Participate in special projects, accounting research, and ad hoc reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate, multi-entity, or audited environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workiva, QuickBooks, ERPs) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
