The Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced self-starter to work on our IT teamas a IT Support Technician reporting to our Senior Manager, End-User Computer. As an IT Support Technician, position will be responsible for providing friendly and prompt technical support to Curi team members and guests. You will be responsible for providing friendly and prompt technical support to users and serving as an escalation point for junior team members. This role involves documenting policies and procedures, training, sharing knowledge, and leading small projects. As an IT Support Technician II will also create and deploy laptop images, help train junior team members, and have experience with MacOS.

Key Result Areas
- Respond and resolve user technical issues via chat, email, or phone
- Help with documentation of new and existing policies/procedures
- Serve as escalation point for junior team members.
- Share knowledge with junior team members.
- Lead small projects (minimal impact – individual(s)/department(s).
- Assist in AV setup as needed for meetings.
- Automation/Scripting (automate repetitive tasks, build tools for the team, etc.)
- Assist with training of junior team members.
- Create, maintain, and deploy laptop images.
- Test new technology.
- MacOS Experience.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curious mindset. Continuous learner and adaptor to new technologies
- Service heart and willingness to go the extra mile to assist employees with technical issues
- Collaborative mindset. Willingness to help teammates, jump in and fill in for one another
- Associate’s degree with an IT focus or completion of a Trade School program
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role (demonstrated mastery of IT Support Technician (I) job duties and skills may be considered for existing employees with less years of experience).
